Bedside program at The Happiness Factory

Hi everyone,

As we write this newsletter, we are filled with gratitude and emotion: we have just completed 7 concerts in 8 days, a record for The Happiness Factory!

This is far beyond just a few concerts each month. More importantly, this milestone reflects a real transformation in our work. We are no longer limited to weekend performances. By adding bedside programs to main hall concerts on weekends and expanding performances into weekdays (thanks to school closures and community service days offered by our partner schools) we now have many more opportunities to bring music to seniors across New York City.

The Happiness Factory is growing because of you. Please continue to share our mission, to bring your music and your heart where it is needed most and to offer the simple, yet powerful gift of human connection.

Watch one of our recent bedside programs; it brings small groups of young musicians directly to the bedside of senior residents who are unable to leave their room. The impact is huge.

Witness senior residents join in the singing and move to the rhythm, experiencing the power of music to unite generations.

Valentine’s Day Celebration

Music was in the air this Valentine’s Day, as our little fairies spread love in the sweetest way, sharing more than 50 beautiful handmade cards, created by two families, along with music from room to room: WATCH HERE ->

Lang Lang International Music Foundation

We were recently honored to present our mission to the scholars of the prestigious Lang Lang International Music Foundation during their master class at Steinway Hall.
